Membership Rules

These Rules prescribe the terms applicable between members and LUBE Corporation (hereafter referred to as the "Company") when customers registered as members (hereafter referred to as "Members") use the services of the Company.
When the provisions of these Membership Rules and the provisions of the Usage Rules, etc. differ, the provisions of the Usage Rules will be preferentially applied.

Compliance with Basic Matters

At the time of membership registration, customers will comply with the general manners and morals of Internet use and with technical rules.
Membership
Members will be deemed to have agreed to these rules at the point in time of applying for membership registration.

1) Member means persons who, having agreed to these Rules, undertake Membership Registration pursuant to the prescribed procedures and who have been approved by the Company.
2) Persons who desire membership registration will, having consented to these Rules, use the membership application form on the Company's website and undertake membership registration in accordance with the prescribed procedures. The Company's way of thinking concerning the personal information of all Members is set forth in the "Personal Information Protection Policies" which are separately posted on this website and the Company requests that these be thoroughly read.
3) Members will bear full responsibility for the management of personally identifiable information, including their own ID's and passwords.
4) When judged necessary by the Company, the Company may change, suspend or terminate all or a portion of the details of the services at anytime without giving prior notice to Members and Members consent to this.
5) When the company changes, suspends discontinues or ends the details of the services pursuant to the provisions of these Rules, the Company will bear no liability with respect to Members and Members consent to this.

Prohibitions
Members must not engage in the acts prescribed below when using the services.
1) Act of undertaking membership registration based on a false name or other false information.
2) Acts infringing the intellectual property rights or other rights of the Company, other Members, third parties or the services or acts which risks infringing such rights.
3) Acts infringing the privacy or assets of the Company, other Members, third parties or the services or acts which risks infringing such rights.
4) Acts causing damage to or losses of or attempting to improperly revise or change computers, systems, personal information and other data or acts of improperly collecting information and data.
5) Acts of copying, selling or publishing information obtained through the Company, acts of changing or translation the software provided by the Company, acts of attempting to crack source codes through reverse engineering, disassembling, decompiling or other methods or acts of creating derivative products.
6) Acts of selling, transferring, renting or leasing the software provided by the Company to a third party.
7) Acts of attempting to impede the operations of the Company or attempting to damage the credibility of the Company or acts for which there is a risk thereof.

Responsibilities of Membership
1) The Company will bear no liability with respect to damages suffered by Members through use of the Company's services.
2) In the event that a Member causes a third party to suffer damages through use of the Company's services, that Member will resolve the matter at his or her own responsibility and will cause no damage to the Company.

Resignation
A member may at anytime freely resign by undertaking the proscribed procedures stipulated by the Company.

Cancellation of Membership Qualifications
When deemed inappropriate as a Member based on the judgment of the Company, the Company may cancel the membership qualifications of the relevant Member without any advance warning.

Disclaimer
1) The Company will bear no liability with respect to any damages suffered by a Member arising from the use or non-use of the services regardless of any grounds whether direct or indirect.
2) The Company will bear no obligation to undertake support relating to the equipment and software used by Members in order for the Member to be able to use the services.
3) The Company will bear no liability with regard to the damages of Members arising from the use or inability to use the software provided by the Company.

Duty of Good Faith
In the event that questions arise for which there are no provisions in these Rules at the time of the use of the services, both parties shall engage in good faith discussions and resolve those questions.

Governing Law / Court of Competent Jurisdiction
The laws of Japan are the governing law of these membership rules. Additionally, the court having jurisdiction for the head office of the Company will be the agreed court of competent jurisdiction for disputes which arise between the Company and Members.

Supplementary Provisions
These membership rules will come into force from August 1, 2011.
